Grain de Caf, Paris France
I saw the light of day in the 19th district of Paris at the end of the years seventy. I discovered the hip-hop in 87 and since my passion for this culture never stopped itself. After practicing without really investing me all the disciplines, graph (or rather wild tag), dances (mmmoouuais) and turntablism (at last rather pushes disc), I began writing my first sixteen in 92. I had a group with my pal of childhood Bese and DJ DOM named Molotov, then two years in solo before meeting LOGAN in 97. With him, VOODOO and DJ SHINO replaced by DJ MANIFEST after the first album constituted us the group OCTOBER RED. After three albums (“24/7" in 2002," THE OR CA DOES POORLY" in 2004 and "VOTE FOR US" in 2007), two mix CDs and five max, one imposed in the French rap a shifted style and an original writing that some inspired a lot of elsewhere, AND SO BETTER. After the 3rd album, one gave oneself two years to do the projects solos that one wished each to take to boils. It is simple, my album (gone out official November 9 2009) is called "THOMAS TRAORE". My name and my first one to name because it was the better manner to summarize the fourteen titles of the album. An album of RAP that does not insult your intelligence, an album that talks about the true life, an album that will reconcile the guys (and girls) of my age with a rap far of the clichés and sounds that go with.

Avec lui, VOODOO et DJ SHINO remplacé par DJ MANIFEST après le premier album nous avons constitué le groupe OCTOBRE ROUGE. Après trois albums ("24/7" en 2002, "LA OU CA FAIT MAL" en 2004 et "VOTEZ POUR NOUS" en 2007), deux mix CDs et cinq maxis, on a imposé dans le rap français un style décalé et une écriture originale qui en a inspiré beaucoup d'ailleurs, ET TANT MIEUX. Après le 3ème album, on s'est donné deux ans pour faire les projets solos qu'on souhaitait chacun mener à bout. C'est simple, mon album (sortie officielle le 9 novembre 2009) s'appelle "THOMAS TRAORE". Mon nom et mon prénom parce que c'était la meilleure façon de résumer les quatorze titres de l'album. Un album de RAP qui n'insulte pas ton intelligence, un album qui parle de la vraie vie, un album qui va réconcilier les gars (et filles) de mon âge avec un rap loin des clichés
et des sons qui vont avec.
